Our Core Beliefs
Our core beliefs flow from our conviction that the Bible is God’s inerrant, authoritative, and sufficient Word for us (Isaiah 55:10-11; 62:2, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We value expositional preaching (2 Timothy 4:1-4)
We know the blessed necessity of prayer. We want our future effectiveness to be God’s doing, and not ours (Ephesians 6:18; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)
We believe that the gospel is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes (Romans 1:16)
We are a complementarian congregation, emphasizing the equality of men and women, while recognizing a biblical differentiation of roles (Genesis 1-2, Ephesians 5:22-31, 1 Timothy 2:11-15). Therefore, our conviction is that elder and pastor roles are open to men only
We want our ministries to grow in unity with diversity (1 Corinthians 12:12-31, Ephesians 3:10)
